Members of the PoliTo community have access to the castle in a number of different ways:
- Institutional delegations, research groups and guests of the Politecnico di Torino: those responsible for the initiative can request guided tours, preferably after 17.30 or on Saturday mornings, so as not to interfere with the normal activities of the Castle. In exceptional cases, it is possible to arrange visits at other times, depending on the availability of the staff and the rooms. It is also possible to request, for specific research or teaching needs, access to areas of the PoliTo that are normally closed to the visit: possible visit solutions will be evaluated and agreed from time to time. Requests should be made using the form on this page. Requests will be answered within 5 working days. Groups may consist of maximum 30 people (including guests and staff promoting the initiative). Visits last approximately one hour; half-hour visits can be arranged. Visits can be conducted in English, French and Spanish upon request. Access is via Pier Andrea Mattioli Avenue 39.
- PoliTo and inter-university students: some visits are planned specifically for students, in ways that will be progressively announced on the homepage and communicated through institutional channels.
- PoliTo faculty and staff: for personal visits and with their families, they are invited to follow the booking procedures for individual visitors, but can still contact the Castle secretariat for special needs. However, there will also be some special dates for visits, the details of which will gradually be published on the website and communicated through institutional channels.
