The Valentino Castle, the historic seat of the Politecnico di Torino since its foundation, is utilized every day by students, teachers and staff of the Department of Architecture and Design and the Department of Science, Policy and Planning of the Territory.
The PoliTo Community opens its doors to the public on Saturday mornings with free guided tours that last one hour and include a visit to the rooms on the main floor, the Hall of Columns and the Chapel on the ground floor.
Visits can only take place in accompanied groups and reservations must be made in accordance with the procedures below.
Tours are exclusively commented by experts in architectural history from the PoliTo Community, who will explain the main historical, artistic and institutional aspects of the castle.
